The Lake Wylie Marine Commission invites the public to its monthly meeting, 7-9 p.m. Nov. 26 at the Gaston College East Campus in Belmont. The group works to preserve Lake Wylie.
The commission represents residents of Gaston, Mecklenburg and York counties and other Lake Wylie stakeholders to set public policy and regulations to protect the lake and its shoreline and to encourage the lake's safe use and enjoyment. The commission meets at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of the month on a rotating basis in each county.
